Background:

Upper Deck revolutionized the sports trading card experience and is now a highly-recognized, worldwide sports and entertainment company. To educate their distributors and retailers on the power of social media, Upper Deck hired Devon Victoria Communications to conduct a six-week “social media makeover” on one of their retailer’s social channels. Devon revealed the results to 300+ attendees at the annual Upper Deck Certified Diamond Dealer Conference, along with helpful takeaways on how they could achieve the same for their business.

Tactics:

In a six-week period, we worked with one retailer to refresh their social channel appearance, create a content strategy, utilize new and engaging post types (such as slideshows, videos, polls), launch social ads, and host exciting campaigns such as digital contest and an in-store scavenger hunt. Throughout the process, the retailer received 1-on-1 consulting to give them the knowledge and tools they needed to continue efforts at the end of the engagement.
